Clear Path International
Removing Obstacles that Stand in the Way of the Health, Safety, and Development of Children and their Families

Clear Path International was formed by a group of friends with a wealth of relief-work experience in Vietnam and other parts of Asia. Originally formed as a landmine and bomb removal organization, the Board of Directors recognized the need for a professional non-profit organization to undertake landmine and UXO victim assistance activities in Southeast Asia. In this way, Clear Path International makes a compassionate attempt to redress the destructive legacy of armed conflict and help families get back on track after their often devastating, if not deadly, accidents.

Our mission is to remove obstacles that stand in the way of the health, safety and development of children and their families.

Our goals include:

Raising awarenessof the landmine/uxo problem in the world, particularly in Southeast Asia.

Sponsoring and managing programs to assist victims of accidental landmine/uxo explosions through emergency medical treatment, surgery, long-term health care, nutritional support, special scholarships and other initiatives that support the victims' reintegration into their communities.

Clear Path International's approach to humanitarian programs calls for close cooperation with local residents and agencies that represent them. Its projects are also designed to create an in-country capacity that can sustain the victim assistance activities well into the future, independently or with minimal support from the international community.
